The Progress of your Order
Having placed your order, you will receive emails confirming that it was received by us, that we have processed your order, and finally when (and how) your order was dispatched. You can also track the progress of your order(s) from 'My Account' on the website.
Minimum Orders (updated - January 2009)
Certain items have "minimum order" quantities, but this information is not always displayed on the website. As a rule, we do NOT sell single copies of Choral Sheets. If you require "inspection" copies, please contact the publisher direct. The "minimum" order quantity we set for Choral Sheets is usually 6 or 10 copies. Orders are processed by us (not the website) on a "case by case" basis, so we'll advise you of your options before any money is taken.
Postal Insurance (updated - April 2010)
All parcels we send out are automatically insured up to £41. If the Parcel Value is more than £41 we recommend (but do not insist) that you pay an additional charge for Postal Insurance. In the event that your parcel is lost (or damaged) we can compensate you appropriately. If you choose not to pay for Postal Insurance and your parcel is lost/damaged, we will only reimburse you up to £41.00
Availability
Our on-line catalogue marks each item as 'In Stock', 'In Print', 'Out of Print', 'Reprinting' or 'In-preparation'. This information is updated from our server every twenty four hours (at around 3am - BST).
Since January 2010 we have had the ability to display "live" stock information on the website so we can now indicate whether we have an item "In stock" (and if we do, how many copies). This information is adjusted (manually) constantly as we sell and replace items, so while we aim to have 100% accuracy, we cannot guarantee it.
If you need to know whether we have a particular item "in stock", please phone 01736 759 999 for an instant answer.
We anticipate it will take months (if not years) to account for all our stock (currently in excess of 40,000 books) on the website, but that is our intention.
If you need a particular book in a hurry and we don't have it on our shelves, we are always happy to suggest another (appropriate) supplier, to save you valuable time in your search.
If an out of stock item becomes particularly difficult to obtain, we will keep you informed at intervals via email and keep trying to obtain the item unless you ask us to cancel the back order. If we discover that a title on backorder is 'Reprinting' or has become 'Out of Print' we will let you know. If you do not require a book that has been on backorder for some time, simply let us know and we will cancel the backorder.
Alternatively, you have the option to decline our backorder service (see 'My Account'), in which case; if any items are out of stock when we process your order, the item will be deleted from your order and the accompanying invoice will list items not supplied.
Returns
Returns are not accepted unless by specific arrangement. Please ring first! Any queries relating to your delivery must be notified within 14 days of receipt.
